John Lumpkin Institute

An organization based out of Jacksonville, FL that is educating the next generation of musicians through jazz. John Lumpkin is a mentor and friend to many, and has played an instrumental role in building an awareness of jazz in the city of Jacksonville. Lumpkin created the “JLI” and the “Jazz Discovery Series” as a way to highlight today’s most prolific musicians and create invaluable learning opportunities.

In addition to serving on the board of directors, I have worked in the capacity of illustrator, interviewer, animator and co-director for projects pertaining to the “JLI” and “Jazz Discovery Series.”
